Club Training Sessions

Written by ICFC | 01:35 10/08/2009 | Modified: 16:30 16/10/2010

Imperial College Fencing Club holds regular training sessions every week during College term-time. These sessions are for all Club members. Anyone associated with Imperial College is welcome to come to any training session and have a go for free. If you have not fenced before we recommend you attend one of our beginners’ courses.

Session Schedule:

  • 5.45pm - Arrive, change and individual warm up (chat)
  • 6pm – Group footwork (all levels)
  • 6.30pm – Free fencing can start for experienced fencers
  • 7.50pm – Stop fencing and start packing away

Sessions are every Monday and Friday during term time.

Individual lessons are available.

Equipment

Turn up with T-shirt, tracksuit-type bottoms (anything you can move easily in, not jeans), and trainers. All other equipment you’ll need is provided by the club. Changing rooms and showers are available at Ethos.

The first session is free for all, and after that they cost £2 each, which is really very cheap indeed.
