What is RAG?

RAG is the main charitable outlet of Imperial College Union, raising money for a variety of charities, both national and international. Click here to see how charities for each year are selected.

RAG fundraises throughout the year. These events range collecting anywhere from Tube stations to the Albert Hall. Our main events are concentrated into RAG Week (scheduled for the week of February 16th - 20th 2009). Where we aim to get as much of college involved as we can. Whether you're reading the RAG Magazine, waiting for your mate to be pied by a gorilla or eating our cakes - you'll definitely see us around! Our biggest event is our annual RAG Raid, where Imperial students flood out over London, completing insane challenges, and collecting money from an unsuspecting public.

About RAG

Posted by Jon Downing on Novemeber 14, 2009

RAG is a large part of Imperial College Union. With a substaintial undergraduate (and postgraduate!) population Imperial College Union is well placed to raise money for charity. In terms of structure RAG (like CAG - the Community Action Group) sits on the Presidents Executive Committee. This allows RAG to employ all the tools of publicity, marketing etc available to the union. Thus RAG should be well resource to raise substantial amounts of charity. whoop! The Committee
